Cultural Intelligence (CQ) applies to national and ethnic differences but also relates to the differences that exist across different regional cultures, professional cultures, generations, functions, and a whole lot more. CQ is something that is being used by leading organizations all over the world.
Rooted in scholarly research and used by organizations like Harvard University, Goldman Sachs, BMW, Price Waterhouse Cooper, and Google this engaging, practical session gives individuals a chance to discuss some of the intercultural challenges and opportunities people face, and allow them to create an action plan for developing and applying one's CQ in both personal and professional levels.

The Cultural Intelligence model is rooted in rigorous empirical work. Business professors and researchers Chris Early and Soon And built upon the research on multiple intelligences to develop the conceptual model of cultural intelligence.
Ninety percent (90%) of leading executives from sixty-eight (68) countries identified cross-cultural leadership as the top management challenge for the next century. Most contemporary leaders encounter dozens of cultures daily. It's impossible to master the norms and values of each culture, but effective leadership does require some adaptation in approach and strategy.
